Can I cancel an assignment?
No. End it with End assignment. Cancel closes a window or, for staff, an offer letter.
There is no Cancel assignment action.
- To stop an assignment, click Request changes, then End assignment, and click End Assignment. See How do I end an associate's assignment?
- Cancel on the request window only closes that window.
- Cancel on an offer letter or statement of work is a BOSS staff action. It does not end the assignment.
What happens next
- A future end date leaves the assignment active until that date.
- After the end date, the status is Ended.
