How do assignment splits work?

A split shares the assignment with another partner company or with someone on your team.

1. Click Assignments and open the assignment.
2. Click Request changes, then Request field changes.
3. In Partner split, set Split applies from.
4. Add the other party and the share. Remove the split clears it when the request is approved. Keep the split undoes that.
5. Click Submit request. Nothing changes until BOSS approves it.

Good to know

• If the share moves the whole assignment to another company, the form says so before you submit.
• My splits is for a teammate who does not have distribution reports. It lists that person's own lines. It is not where you edit the split.
• The Splits tab on the assignment record is for BOSS staff.
