# How do I add a new associate?

## Click Associates, then New Associate, fill in the form and create the associate.

1. Click **Associates**, then **New Associate**.
2. Fill in the associate's details and choose any background checks or drug screenings.
3. Click **Create associate**.

Onboarding starts right away with the screenings you picked, and the associate is emailed to complete their paperwork. If the email matches someone already in the system, the app asks whether to use the existing associate or create a new one anyway.

Screening charges are billed to you and show under Money, then Charges.
