What is an EOR anyway?

EOR stands for Employer of Record.

An Employer of Record, also known as an “EOR,” acts as the legal employer of a temporary worker when you place that contractor on an assignment. An EOR will handle administrative and human resource-related functions on your behalf, including onboarding contractors, processing timesheets and payroll, filing taxes, managing benefits and other tasks.
